FM-450-S Molding Sander With 4 heads Complete with FlexTrim Brush
Brush Sanding Machine with four heads for denibbing sanding behind a molding operation. Roller Transport feed system with variable speed adjustment. Lateral guides are manually adjustable in width. Upper pressure rollers for hold down of the moldings.
A total of four variable speed direct drive 2 HP and 1 HP motors equipped with Flex-Trim heads. Top units are 12” wide and run in opposite directions. Top motors are adjustable in height.
Side motors are adjustable in and out from the centerline of the conveyor.
The top pressure system is a series of idle rollers, adjustable in height.
Touch Screen controls for starting, stopping and adjusting the machine feed rate and station RPM.
Two variable speed 2HP motors power the Flex-Trim heads. One head will turn towards the infeed (second head) , the other away from the infeed (first head). The heads are adjustable in height.
The Hub length is 300 mm on 1” shafts.
12” working width.
Sanding material 120 and 150 grit. Support brushes are 5 mm shorter
The side heads are built on 120mm hubs, for a 5” working height.
The sanding disks are on 2 HP motors with 1” shafts, and are variable speed.
Sanding materials grit is 150. Ceramic Materials.
The head will tilt 0% to +90°. Additional movement in and out to better position the head. The machine base is modified to accept the additional movements.
