ENTRY SIDE TAMPING CONVEYOR
To take blanks from the press and traverse them to the rollformer. At the end of this conveyor they are tamped square and driven into the rollformer.
F0(Ø25) 14 PASS DEDICATED ROLLFORMER
14 pass dedicated rollform mill with 25mm diameter shafts.
Drive is transferred to the rolls via Worm gearboxes & a spur gear drive train.
The stands are complete assemblies and are adjusted via a screw assembly in order to achieve the desired rolling pressure at that forming station.
The rollforming head is mounted onto a fabricated baseframe.
The rollformer is guarded by a box type mesh guard with a hinged door, for access to the rollforming head, the door is interlocked with the emergency stop circuit.
Controls
The Rollformer is fitted with fixed speed controls incorporating a fail safe brake in order to stop the machine promptly in an emergency situation.
