Grant Scientific: Grant equipment for the laboratoryThe Grant Scientific division designs and manufactures a wide range of high quality scientific laboratory equipment used in routine laboratory applications for analytical, diagnostic and research purposes.
Key product groups include temperature controlled baths and circulators for heating and refrigerating, dry block heaters for incubating samples, shaking baths for agitating samples, and ultrasonic baths for cleaning.
Grant affiliate Biosan, co-owned by Grant Instruments, designs and manufactures an innovative and cost-effective range of products designed primarily for life science applications. Biosan, based in Latvia, manufactures the Grant-Bio product range and has an extensive new product development portfolio.
Grant Data Acquisition: Squirrel Portable data loggersGrant has pioneered the development and use of data loggers and systems since 1981 when it introduced the Squirrel data logger, one of the first truly portable, microprocessor controlled data loggers in the world.
Small, battery, operated and extremely easy to programme, Grant Squirrels are used to monitor a wide range of physical parameters – temperature, humidity, voltage, current, resistance – in research and QA applications in a variety of scientific institutions and industrial operations.
The Cambridge-based Grant affiliate Eltek produces Squirrel variants primarily for remote logging using wireless based telemetry systems.
Temperature Data LoggersGrant offers Squirrel models dedicated solely to recording temperature from up to six thermocouple temperature probes. These compact temperature data loggers can be used both for general-purpose temperature logging applications and for specific through-process temperature monitoring applications in manufacturing.
Grant Technologies: Bespoke scientific systems for industryThe Grant Technologies division supplies bespoke industrial and scientific laboratory equipment based on Grant’s proven core competencies and has both the capability and the resources to act as an independent outsourcing partner for product design and manufacture.
