Organized in 1986, Acme Manufacturing Company has been operated by current ownership since 1992. Previously known as The SteelWorks Corporation, the company changed its name to Acme Manufacturing Company in January, 2006. Originally, The SteelWorks Corporation was exclusively a manufacturer and distributor of metal shapes for do-it-yourselfers to the retail hardware trade.
Today, Acme manufactures perforated angle and struts for the garage door industry; and lawn edging, stakes, staples and pins for the landscape industry through its GarageWorks and Lawn Edging divisions.
Acme Manufacturing Company, Inc., is a prime manufacturer of a variety of metal products. We currently operate seven businesses including All America Threaded Products, T&S Perfection Chain, Grandeur Hardware, Nostalgic Warehouse, Coyote Landscape Products and Acme Metal Shapes.
Acme’s headquarters, and primary manufacturing and distribution facilities are located in a 160,000 sq. ft. facility in Denver, Colorado.
