Armco

Armco Superlite was established as a subsidiary of the American Rolling Mill Company, the USA’s fourth largest steel producer, and is now a wholly owned South African company which has been operating in South Africa since the 1930’s.

Today Armco Superlite supplies many of the world’s leading construction companies and agencies that operate in Africa, Australasia and the Far East, and exports most of the corrugated pipe produced at it’s factory. Armco’s guardrail product is so widely used in Southern Africa that it’s name has become a generic for the product.

 

The factory is situated on a 3,6 hectare site in Isando near Johannesburg, South Africa, close to major highways and an international airport. It also has it’s own railway siding.

 

Armco Superlite is a company listed in accordance with the SABS ISO 9001 Scheme. This internationally accepted listing ensures the quality of all products that leave our factory. Specific customer quality plans can be catered for in our manufacturing process.
