The East Anglian Sealing Company Limited is, according to our existing customers, one of the best new SME manufacturers and suppliers of gaskets and seals in the UK.
Our company was set up in 2002 by Steve Cant (formerly of Law Polyco, National Seals & Gaskets, Sudbury Seals & Gaskets and British Gaskets) and has traded very successfully since, moving into new premises in 2005, and expanding into renovated buildings at the site with increased manufacturing (new Water-Jet cutting equipment) and storage facilities in February 2011. Plans are already being made for further expansion during 2013 /2014 to include new Plastic Injection moulding machinery.
The company has manufacturing facilities with partner companies across the UK including Bradford, Manchester and Cardiff.
As an ISO approved agency company for Klinger Easeals has the backing of the largest EU manufacturer of gasket and gasket materials. Leading companies such as BP, Shell, Exxon, Conoco, British Gas, Transco, Total Elf Fina and Rolls Royce Aerospace are contracted to and use Klinger products and Easeals are pleased to be associated with these hi-profile companies reflecting the degree of excellence that is expected from the company as an agency. The association does not limit Easeals in using just one manufacturers material, and stocks of most other brands are also available, including economical unbranded materials where recognised brands are not neccessary.
As products are relatively simple, and we have a lot of experience in our industry, customers are finding that we can make savings immediately with no major outlay (ie tooling). Products can be easily sampled to customer specifications prior to any decision being made to switch supply route, giving greater security and a Best Value policy ensures each customer of the best possible cost price in the industry without compromising quality.
For special 'soft-cut' gasket requirements, parts are cut in-house using the latest CAD/CAM tool-less cutting machines along with conventional presses (can normally turn round parts same-day for most urgent requests). Stocks of metallic gaskets (Spiral Wound, Ovals etc) are also available for next day deliveries across the UK and quick turnaround and personal approach ideally suits the company to the needs of today’s modern industry with just in time and minimal stocking requirements.
With a background in rubbers, (sheeting, matting, mouldings and extrusion) Easeals handles over 80 tonnes of material at our Sudbury facility each week and offers a highly competitive service on all types of product including rubber and plastic mouldings/castings and extrusions – mostly from free of charge tooling.
Stocks of Pump and Valve Packings in both braided and pre-formed varieties are also available, along with industrial textiles and plastics. In Manchester recent investment in technology and equipment, allows the processing of PTFE polymers in-house – from powder and pellet through to finished components and billets. Extensive spares for industrial boilers are available including manway, hand-hole and boiler door gaskets, glass ladder and webbing tapes, gauge glasses and sealing cones.
In 2011, mechanical seals were added to the range of products following an acquisition into the group – this enables Easeals to offer a complete selection of mechanical seals and repair facilities from simple O Ring seals to diaphragm and bellows mounted single-spring and full pressure balanced cartridge seals.
