Gerhard Unger offers clients in dairy, brewing, food technology, pharmaceuticals and other specialised process industries a solutions-directed service, often providing turn-key “packages” in southern Africa and the Indian Ocean islands.
Its experience since 1976 has ensured Gerhard Unger’s place as a preferred supplier of specialised processing plants meeting the highest international standards. Where possible, the plants are manufactured and tested in our shop to ensure the shortest on-site assembly.
Gerhard Unger has a proven record of competence, having successfully designed, manufactured and site assembled numerous plants, including sugar dissolving plants for household name beverage producers, concentrate plants, margarine plants, heat exchangers, and containerised and mobile emulsion mixing plants (for Africa’s largest explosives supplier). Its specialisation includes sophisticated process automation and intricate pipe work (much of it on site).
