Layton provide coating services to the electronics industry for coating printed circuit boards to protect against environmental degredation of the product. Our materials include Certonal TL6x which is a thin fluoroacrylate polymer coating which provides a very low surface tension coating to the PCB. The overall coating thickness is only one micron which means that no masking is required yet it outperforms traditional conformal coatings.
Layton also supply the materials and equipment for fluoropolymer coating and traditional coatings such as acrylics, urethanes and silicones.
Layton also has a division which manufactures cleaning and drying equipment and ultrasonics for precision markets such as aerospace, telecoms and medical.
