Company Description


NSC Electroplating cc has been operating since early 1996. Although Nickel Silicon Carbide electroplating (Nikasil) is a well established technology, there were no companies providing this service in South Africa. The market was too small for the bigger companies to consider and the cylinders had to therefore be sent to England or Germany to be repaired. The alternative solution was to buy a new cylinder – not a cheap option !! In many cases the cylinders are no longer available as the agents do not keep stock. In some cases expensive porting work or other modifications have been carried out on the cylinders.
