Freudenberg Filtration Technologies receives Q1 Award

The Ford Motor Company has recognized the work of Freudenberg Filtration Technologies in Potvorice with its prestigious Q1 Award for suppliers. Freudenberg’s Slovakia facility manufactures high-quality micronAir cabin air filters.

 

Ford only presents the coveted Q1 Award to suppliers that meet the company’s demanding requirements. Highest product quality, punctual delivery, project management, customer service and customer satisfaction are key rating factors, which must also be constantly optimized in a continuous process. In addition to intensive cooperation with Ford, basic requirements for receiving the award include certification in accordance with the ISO/TS 16949 quality management system as well as an established Ford quality operation system (QOS).
 

Recognition and responsibility in one

“For our colleagues in the factory, receiving the Q1 Award is both recognition of our overall performance and a great honor, because it puts us among Ford’s top suppliers”, commented Lubomir Rošcák, plant manager at Freudenberg Filtration Technologies in Potvorice. “At the same time, the prize brings with it a responsibility not to relax and to further optimize our processes to ensure that we remain a powerful partner for the automotive industry in the future”, Rošcák explained. The plant in Slovakia was put into operation in 2007 and currently employs 350 people. Its production certifications include standards such as ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27,001.
