AEI Tech 2006 Award for ITI’s Powertrain Simulation
The AEI Tech Award is given annually to selected top products and technologies. As a highlight of the SAE World Congress 3-6 April 2006 in Detroit/USA the editors of the Automotive Engineering International (AEI) have nominated ITI Dresden with an AEI Tech 2006 Award for its presented paper during the forum congress focussing on powertrain simulation.
ITI-SIM - one of the two innovative simulation tools developed by ITI Dresden - was chosen as the best software tool for powertrain modeling. Simulation environment of the software includes physical domains required for vehicle and automotive engineering. The collection of pre-build and validated model objects for powertrain components implying items such as engines, clutches, gear stages, and synchronizers. ITI-SIM fulfils all requirements of engineers optimally, especially for the investigation and optimization of complete powertrains.
The two software programs developed by ITI GmbH Dresden - SimulationX and ITI-SIM - are applied worldwide for drive technology, fluid power and automotive engineering. The tools have multi-domain modeling features which include mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and control systems in one simulation model.
