NQF 2 Accreditation

NQF 2 Accreditation

Company News Tuesday, December 20, 2011: Hytec Group of Companies

With an abundance of diversely talented human resources in the country, but a lack of certified workers, the Hytec Group, leading suppliers of hydraulic technology and an authorised distributor of Bosch Rexroth products in South Africa, has proven its commitment to training by earning accreditation as a Training Provider, and receiving programme approval for the Unit Standard: Demonstrate basic knowledge of hydraulic components NQF Level 2.

"We have experienced a gap in the hydraulics industry where there is a definite lack of qualified employees. Hytec is aiming to close that gap by providing training that meets the high standards of the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA)," says Allen van Gent, Group Training Officer, Hytec Holdings.

By meeting all the conformance requirements, Hytec has also earned full accreditation from the Manufacturing, Engineering and related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA), making it easier for clients to facilitate and implement programmes that can properly train and certify their employees.

“Hytec is the only hydraulics company in South Africa to receive full accreditation status and programme approval. Although it has been a lengthy process, it is a great achievement for our training division and offers many opportunities for both us and our clients,” states Van Gent.

“Hytec provides a range of comprehensive in-house and customer-specific training courses that cover all aspects of product selection, system design, service and maintenance. These training initiatives focus on both the theoretical and practical elements of the hydraulics industry, and will enable the learners to demonstrate basic knowledge of hydraulic practices and components,” concludes Van Gent.
