Brussels – November, 2011 - Ingersoll Rand, a global leader in
compressed air technology, has launched its new, industry leading
L-Series Class 0 rotary screw air compressor that delivers the only proven 100% oil-free air, independently tested and certified by TÜV Rheinland, for total customer reliability and high performance.

Engineered to the highest standards in the Ingersoll Rand Unicov plant in the Czech Republic, the L-Series air compressor integrates single stage rotary screw technology with rugged, high-performance design. With 100% oil-free air (TÜV-certified according to ISO 8573-1 CLASS 0) supplied round the clock and monitored by a state of the art microprocessor controller, the L-Series compressor offers the highest levels of engineered technology. This ensures Ingersoll Rand time proven reliability with energy efficiency savings up to an average of 10% when compared to existing technology in the harshest of applications. Air cooled models will be available with flows up to 8,000 m3/hr or 4,700 cfm, extending the full range from early 2012 on.
