Pressure Products Industries (PPI) launches its Compact line of Gas Compressors. Developed using the latest technology in solids modeling and FEA analysis; the 1500 series compact compressors offer non-contaminating, leak tight compression. Leak tight sealing is achieved through the use of a self energizing static o-ring and seals in the head assembly. Highly sensitive leak detection rapidly detects a diaphragm or seal failure and contains any effluent within the compressor. The metal diaphragm group completely isolates process gas from the hydraulic oil and all lubricated parts ensuring no contamination.
1500 series compressors can achieve compression ratios in excess of 20:1 through careful control of the contoured cavities and clearance volumes Discharge pressures range from 3000 psig to 6000 psig and are ideal for pilot plant and lesser quantity cylinder filling applications where high purity or hazardous gases are used in lower capacities and are ideally suited for use with gases such as Hydrogen, Krypton, Xenon, Argon, Fluorine, Oxygen, NF3, Hel.
