Gwen, a mother of two beautiful boys, studied at the University of the North West where she obtained a B Com. majoring in Economics and Business Management. She also went on to obtain a B Com (Hons).

 

Gwen is currently the Group Executive Director of Capital Africa Steel, an investment vehicle with interest in the steel and concrete sector.

 

Through her company Mahuma Investment Holdings, Gwen has a 26% interest in CAS Enviro (Pty) Ltd – a recycling company as well as 51% of 3Q Mahuma JV – concrete supplier of note to various contracts at Kusile and Balmoral.

 

Apart from the above Gwen also have interests in Louwill Bakgoni JV, Marentia 0026, Reyajala Women’s Consortium and G&G Printing.

 

She has recently been appointed on to the boards of WSP Africa and Alert Steel, a listed company on the JSE AltX .

 

It is clear to see that Gwen is a dynamic and proactive entrepreneur. She is also a staunch supporter of Woman empowerment.

 

Needless to say is the fact that she has a very keen eye for opportunities. This has led to her having a very diverse network not only in South Africa but also in the rest of Africa.
