Load Ring for Offshore Applications
The VLBS-U-LT welded load ring, one of RUD’s latest innovations offers a major distinctive feature operating to temperatures as low as -49°F (– 45°C) to temperatures of 752°F (400°C), perfect for many offshore and arctic offshore projects.
The VLBS-U-LT holds many similarities to that of the popular VLBS load ring, but the VLBS-U-LT offers the extra advantage that it can operate in low temperatures, as low as -113°F (– 45°C). The VLBS has an increased working load limit of 50% more than the original LBS. The optimized support shape at the suspension ring enables a strong support at loads 90° to the plane of the eye and the load bracket can be tilted by 180°. Like all of RUD’s lifting and lashing points, the New VLBS-U-LT is 100 % electromagnetic crack inspected.
