Poing, March 08, 2013: The fascinating bauma show is just around the corner and REMA TIP TOP will of course again be present at the world's largest and most impressive trade show for our industry. The Company will present a large selection of new products in Hall B2, Booth 321/416 on an exhibition floor space of 245 m². In addition, in the grounds of the exhibition halls (Atrium) REMA TIP TOP will be presenting tools such as a "Servicemobil" to show interested parties the wide variety of services the Company has on offer. The focus here will be on the Company's high degree of service know-how that gives customers higher plant uptimes, and in particular saves on resources.

 

Bauma will open its doors for the 30th time in Munich from April 15 through 21 2013. With an exhibition floor space totaling 555,000 m², this international trade fair for building and building materials equipment, mining machinery, construction industry vehicles and equipment will be the industry's biggest event across the globe this year. REMA TIP TOP will be utilizing this platform to present many innovations in plant service to the professional public: The visitor will receive expert advice from REMA TIP TOP specialists on a wide variety of subjects ranging from sidewall conveyor belts, through extended scraper systems and lining products for corrosion protection and up to OTR (off-the-road) tire solutions for the automotive industry. 

 

REMA TIP TOP has further extended its comprehensive portfolio of industrial applications and now offers both the design and production of REMAWELL sidewall conveyor belts.

These special conveyor belts, constructed from the components (basic belt, sidewalls and cleats) permit the transport of all kinds of bulk material. The three components taken together give a defined transport volume that is constant even if the conveyor routing is vertical or skewed, thus ensuring a constant and defined transport of material.

Order-based design and manufacture, together with the REMA TIP TOP worldwide service network, guarantee fast replacement of defective sidewall conveyor belts as well as professional support when equipping new plant.

 

There are many manufacturers of impact bars for conveying system material transfer stations. In order to not only follow the general trend, REMA TIP TOP has decided to further develop its REMASLIDE Low Friction bars.

The new variant has the designation REMASLIDE LF and differs from the previous bars not only in the color of the polyethylene, but also through improved technical properties. These include a reduction in sliding friction and also an increase in wear resistance. As a result the service life of the bar is increased and, due to the improved sliding friction, energy consumption is reduced.

 

REMA TIP TOP also continues the trend of ongoing increases in product optimization in the field of pulley lagging. For this reason, the REMAGRIP product portfolio has been extended with the variants REMAGRIP CK-X HD in 20mm thickness and REMAGRIP CK-X HDX in 25mm thickness. HD here means "Heavy Duty" or "Heavy Duty Extra". These new product variants combine the excellent properties of the REMAGRIP CK-X, successful for many years, with the advantages of a much greater safety buffer, required for heavily utilized large-scale conveyor belt systems.

 

REMA TIP TOP has also extended its product program to include acid-proof liners. The Company itself produces the synthetic resin and waterglass putty necessary for the fitting of ceramic, carbon, graphite and installation bricks. Synthetic resin putties based on phenol/furan, vinyl, polyester and epoxy resins, as well as waterglass putties are available in many variations. Both the synthetic resin putties (temperature-resistant up to 250°C) and the waterglass putties (temperature-resistant up to 900°C) are marked by an outstanding resistance to inorganic acids and lye as well as to organic chemicals. With it all-in Engineering packet that includes lining, the delivery of all materials including the brick materials and installation throughout the world, REMA TIP TOP can fulfill all requirements for storage and reaction vessels in phosphoric acid plant, Venturi and blast furnace gas washers in the mining and steel industries, etching systems in the steel and galvanizing industries, quenching and acid towers in the sulfuric acid industry and also condensing and bleaching towers. 

 

The Company's Automotive Division will on one hand present products and services that decisively improve the service life of valuable OTR/EM tires and permit unserviceable tires to be reused.

On the other, the Division will take the opportunity to present to visitors a large range of repair materials, vulcanizing equipment, fitting and removal tools such as auxiliary fitting aid materials and documents for successful tire service in the field of mining.
