Turner Morris has traded from 39 Robyn Rd, Benrose for 25 years. The company has grown from one building which housed the factory, store and Johannesburg branch, to using all 4 buildings in Robyn road. Over time even more space was needed and more security. Armed robberies, hijackings and some personnel being held up at gun point when leaving or arriving were the order of the day.
We have purchased a large piece of ground ( 30 000 square metres ) with 6 very old warehouses and one new one, already established on the grounds. The buildings are in need of a great deal of work but they are ours and we now have space and better security. The new premises allow us room to move and space to pack our products.
Our factory is already more productive as a result of the move and is building a new sophisticated spray booth amongst other things. We have a great deal of work to do and envisage planting 1000 trees on the property. We are preparing gardens in which we will plant many flowers in what once was a really messy place. (trees and flowers have been propagated by ourselves) We intend to make the property into a small paradise that is productive but also great environment for us to all to live and work each day.
