Two New Sensors Detect the Presence of Water or Absents of Water
The Dieselcraft Model 06-5 and 06-6 Sensors are a solid state sending unit and a self grounding stainless steel probe. The Model 06-1unit is designed to specifically to detect water in diesel fuel but will also detect water in fluids with less conductive than water. Model 06-2 detects the absence of water in radiators, pumps or tanks.
This probe is 1/8 NPT male brass thread and has an integrated ground to insure 100% that a good ground is made and eliminates the problem of removing paint to get metal to metal ground.
The ABS electronic enclosure houses two LED lights, the Green LED light indicates the sensor has power and is ready to work. The larger Red LED will come on and stay on when water is detected in model 06-5 and when absent in model 06-6. The unit also incorporates an audible alarm. This buzzer will sound for 5 seconds to bring attention to the water detected or water absent condition.
Installation is fool proof, a simple three wire installation and you complete.
The units work on 12 or 24 volts and up to temperatures of 300 degrees F.
