Company News Monday, April 20, 2009: REMA TIP TOP South Africa (Pty) Ltd
ar Tyre Reparation increases Customers’ Loyalty –
REMA TIP TOP manufactures 200 Millionth MINICOMBI repair body
Poing, Feb 28th 2013: In February 2013 the tire repair specialist
REMA TIP TOP produced the 200 Millionth repair body MINICOMBI. The proven repair body further received 10 years in row the TUEV certificate (German Technical Supervisory Board). This confirms that a tire repaired with MINICOMBI operates in continuous operation and high speed test like unrepaired original wheels.
Offering favourably priced solutions without diminishing quality, you win your customer’s trust, tie him to your enterprise and distinguish yourself from your competitors. This concept works so that since the start of production in the 80s the 200 Millionth MINICOMBI repair body left the REMA TIP TOP production.
Since most of tyre damages can be repaired, a proper and skilled tyre reparation can be a good alternative instead of purchasing one or even two new tyres. Your customer brings relief to his budget and contributes to the environment protection at the same time.
Matured and advanced reparation technologies of the
REMA TIP TOP enable the craftsman to repair even RunFlat and UHP tyres, so that they are ready to use.
Based on the carcass general condition, you can decide whether the reparation is reasonable, or it is better to purchase new tyres. Depending on the damage location and tyre type, you can determine the optimal reparation method.
Small stab damages of the tyre tread are reparable with
REMA TIP TOP MINICOMBI system is certified by TUEV. MINICOMBI is provided with a light-blue contact layer: Using the Fast Dry Cement BL allows a chemical reaction and homogeneous compound with the tire during the vulcanisation process This saves time. Moreover, the diameter of MINICOMBI reparation units is reduced. That requires less raw work and improves concentricity.
The system is also released for tyres reparation and meets all requirements of StVZO-Law, Sec. 36 and of the official Tyres Maintenance Guideline.
When a side wall is damaged, a heat method of reparation is required. REMA TP TOP developed special devices and reparation materials for such cases, as well, and it is available for craftsmen for reparation of tyres of any kind.
