Power Factor
1) Inductor flow in the pot. A high number may indicate an obstruction in circulation. 2) Term that describes the relationship between real power (KW) and apparent power (KVA) in a circuit. It is the cosine of the angle between KW and KVA on a phasor drawing of a circuit. (In a phasor drawing, this angle is the same angle formed by the voltage and current relationship.) It is almost always better to run the generators with a lagging power factor (meter pointing to left of zero).
