Tube, Open-Seam
A shape normally produced from sheet of nominally uniform wall thickness and approximately fubular form but having a longitudinal unjointed seam or gap of width not greater than 25 percent of the outside diameter or greatest over-all dimension. Also referred to as “Butt-Seam Tube.”
