Wafer Check Valves
Wafer Check Valves are also known as lift valves and are designed to permit fluid flow in only one direction. A thin disk is attached is allow to pivot on a hinge mounted to the top of the disk. When sufficient pressure is reached on the inlet side to overcome the back pressure on the valve, the wafer disk pivots up and fluid is allowed to pass.
